What is the smallest Bluetooth earpiece out there?

Today, the smallest headset available is actually so tiny that it can not even be seen. Known as the Micro Earpiece this device is worn inside your ear drum. Interestingly, it make no audible sound. Instead, the Micro vibrates sound waves off of the eardrum which can only be "heard" by the wearer of the device. For talking, there is a neck loop microphone that goes underneath clothing to be invisible as well. While it is unlikely that you would want to go this route for everyday use, for special uses in law enforcement and the like, this nearly invisible earpiece is where it's at.

For consumer use, the Motorola H5 Miniblue is thought to be as small as it gets. Stylish and lightweight, the H5 Miniblue has all of the features you expect in a headset including noise cancellation. Being on the small side, it also is known for getting an extended life out of it's rechargeable batteries. This device is not out of reach for most budgets at around .

As for now, those are the smallest of the small. In the future there is no telling how tiny it might get or how common the "invisible" headsets could become. With technology always advancing and our gadgets shrinking we may someday be able to simply implant an earpiece for permanent use.
